The Story So Far

Well.... I'll try to be quick and simple. Key word: TRY

Character Intro
There's a girl named Excel who works for a secret group called Across. Across is dedicated to taking over the world and is led by a man Excel calls Ilparatzo-sama. In the first few minutes of the episode, Excel is killed by a truck when crossing the street. But, she is brought back to life by the Great Will of the Cosmos, "I'z-chan" who looks like a mini-galaxy with two arms. She comes back to life and goes to Across HQ and proceeds to get herself shot when she won't stop "hail"ing Ilparatzo. The episode restarts several times for various reasons, including Excel assasinating the series creator, Rikdo Koshi(who likes to sing that manga artists are the scum of the universe). We're introduced to poor Pedro, a foreign worker who dreams of going back home to his son, Sandora, and his "sexy wife." Also, there's Menchi, a cute little white dog(we have two votes for cat) who becomes Excel's emergency food supply. Then we meet Nabeshin who is the manifestation of the show's director and is also voiced by the director. Excel's neighbor(s) are introduced as Watanabe and friends(one of which doesn't actually speak, but everyone can hear him anyways).

Did I mention that I'z-chan has an unhealthy and unwanted interest in Pedro?

A little later we meet the PuuChuu(they're so kawaii....BUT WHAT ARE THEY!?!?). These appear to be freaky little living stuffed animals that look oh so cute until hit over the head when their face turns into that of a rather ugly man. We meet the Space Butler, a man of impeccable taste and weird hair color who helps Nabeshin save the day, and princess Hyatt. Hyatt is a rather attractive young lady who has a bad habit of dying on you or drooling blood when talking to someone. Everything she touches(other than the main characters) becomes sick and dies within seconds or at the end of an episode, whichever furthers the "plot" more.

Episode Intro:
Each episode is started off by Rikdo Koshi in one form or another giving permission for Excel Saga to be turned into: a public service show, an action flick, a romantic comedy, a survivor flick, and .... you get the picture. Then, the opening starts up. You have to see it, it is beyond description.

Scary and Surreal Props:
Excel's Ilparatzo doll
Hyatt's Medical Bed(with drips and moniters)
Nabeshin's interdimensional hair storage space
Menchi's here today gone tomorrow angels
A cardboard mustache
Ilparatzo's "Weird Love" video game
